Fall Inspired Outfit Idea

Hello!

I have decided that I am going to post outfit combinations on here that I think would work great for portraits. The first set that I have is for fall family photographs because we are of course in the middle of the best time for fall portraits with the leaves changing.

Fall Outfits

I really like the mix of textures and using similar color families with a consistent pop of color. I think it makes family portraits look strategically coordinated. This can be too overdone and I think adding in the different textures prevents the "overdone-ness."

My favorite items are the boots from the "mom" outfit. I really like the two tone. Also I love the little girl outfit. I think that little girl clothes are a great way to play with color and texture. The bright magenta/red pants with the white shirt with the sequined collar is just too cute. Another favorite is the little boy or baby sweater with the shawl collar. It is adorable. A miniature old man sweater.

I hoped you enjoyed this post and it gave you some outfit ideas! I will be posting more outfits in the future.

Relaunch of my Photography blog!

Hey everyone! Long time no post. Sorry I just really have not been doing anything interesting lately. I did pick up the Revlon Whipped foundation again. It is my second time wanting to buy it so I guess that means I really like it lol! I also found the Essie nail polish in Camera. I went crazy trying to find that in the summer but I could not find it at all. I found it at ULTA and there were a ton of them.

Besides that I wanted to announce the relaunch of my photography blog. Also I just launched my photography website. My website is ev-photography.co, please check it out if you would like too! Let me know what you think!

My photography blog is http://focusingdaily.blogspot.com/. I am going to be posting at lot of photography information and pictures.

Welcome!

Welcome to EV Photography's blog!

I decided to relaunch my blog with the creation of my website, ev-photography.co.
I am really excited about the launch of my website. It will make ordering prints so much easier for everyone. Also there is the ability to pay online, the website's cart is linked to my paypal account. Now you will be able to share pictures with family through online albums that are password protected. This ensures that you control who exactly is viewing your photos. And if you have family across the country they can order prints too!

I decided to do this because I think that photographs deserve to be printed. We live in a time where there are photos everywhere, be it on facebook or instagram. However, how many of us actually print our photographs. I wanted to make this system so instead of giving CD's with every session I am going to concentrate on prints. There will still be a CD package offered if you would like to do that. I understand that depending on what you would like to use the photographs for sometimes a CD or digital files would work best.

I am always afraid of waking up and finding my computer dead and my photographs gone. So I am constantly backing up every image that I have. While I know that photographs do not last forever either all of my prints are printed on Kodak Endura paper the photographs will stay in their original state for 100 years in typical home display and for 200 years in dark storage.

Please check out my website and give me feedback on what you think!

Haul time!!

Hey everyone!!!!! I wanted to share some things that I have bought over the past week.

Last Wednesday I had to go to the doctor and I decided that because of that I could go to Ulta and treat myself. So I picked up the Benefit sample compact that has both Boi-ing and Lemon Aide inside. Boi-ing is a concealer, an industrial strength concealer says the website. Lemon Aide is supposed to be used to even out eyelids. I used it to brighten areas and cover up redness. I really like this so far. It is a lot better for me than the Erase Paste, that stuff moved all over the place on me. I love how Benefit will put products into smaller sizes for us to try. If I had spent full price on the Erase Paste I would be so angry. This compact was $10 and I think it will last a long time!

.
.
Then I decided to pick up the NYX Stay Matte Not Flat Powder Foundation. I get fair quickly during the fall so it is a good excuse to try something. I have not used a powder foundation for a long time, but this seems to be working pretty well. I saw on the website when I was looking up the compact image that there is a liquid version of this foundation too. I think I will be picking that up too! I am color Natural if your wondering.
..

Then today after class I decided that if I worked out that I could go to Goodwill on the way home. So I worked out! I love how I justify shopping! Does anyone else do this?

I picked this vintage glass juicer! I have wanted one forever! There are some really cute ones, especially a milk sunkist one that I love! But they are usually (for some reason) expensive at the antique stores near me. So I was really happy that I found this one! I think it is really cute. I can use this to make juice then put it in to the carafe that I got a couple of weeks ago!

.Then I decided to check out the shoes. I do not have luck finding good shoes at Goodwill most of them are already used to the point where you do not want to buy them. I did have luck today though!! I found these Ralph Lauren Eliora Flats with the tag still inside of them. They were priced at $89 originally and I got them for $13! I am pretty excited about these. They are a really pretty classic shoe! They remind me of quilted Chanel Flats.
.

Then on the way home I went to Walmart to grab some milk because we are almost out. I went to the make up section to see if I could find a nude eye pencil for my waterline. I saw on a blog a while ago how Rimmel was coming out with a nude pencil and I have been using a white one on my waterline lately but I think that the nude would be better. So when I could not find the pencil I turned around and decided I would pick up the Wet N Wild palette in Walking on Eggshells. I have heard so many things from blogs and Youtube about this palette. So I thought for $3 what the heck.
This is great!!! I'm jumping on the band wagon for this. I love the colors a pale gold/pink shade, bronze, and a cream. They are really pigmented too! I think this will be great for school. I do want to warn you that the bronze shade does have a little bit of fall out. For $3 I can deal with that.

I hope that you have had a great weekend and a good week so far! I went the the North Georgia State fair with my family and Steve (my boyfriend). It was a lot of fun. I love going to the fair.
I wanted to end on this picture of my little handsome cousin. Isn't he adorable! Look at those Cheeks!!!
