Forever 21 Wishlist

As we are awaiting the possible 2nd Snowpocalypse around Atlanta I am wishing for spring. Forever 21 has sent out quite a few emails this week promoting their spring fashion. They completely got me. I have always been one of those people as soon as Christmas is over I am ready for spring. I am ready for sundresses and sandals. I think you can tell by the grouping of items I have in my wishlist.

1. Floating Daisies Skater Dress, $19.80: The daises on this dress is just adorable.

2. Vine Rose Headband, $2.80: I am a fan of dainty jewelry and hair accessories. This little floral headband is right up my alley.

3. Round Frame Sunglasses, $5.80: Sunglasses are not an item that I tend to invest a lot of money in. I am very rough with glasses so I tend to buy multiple pairs of  one design of glasses when I find some I like. Forever 21 and H&M are my favorite places for sunglasses.

4. Daisy Field Woven Scarf, $9.80: This pattern appears to be the same as the Daisy dress. This would be really nice to throw on an add a little bit of color and pattern to a simple outfit.

5. Cream Eye Shadow, $7.80: Forever 21 just released their new make up collection. And I think I want to try the colors Shiitake and Overcast.

6. Lip & Cheek Stain, $10.80: I am intrigued by the lip & cheek stain and would like to try the color flushed.

7. Crochet Lace-Trimmed Dress, $27.80: This is a beautiful dress. I will be going to a wedding in August and this is exactly what I think would be great to wear to the wedding. The cream is beautiful, but I think I will stick with the sage for this occasion.

8. Retro Daisy Dress, $19.80: I absolutely love this dress. I will be purchasing this on Friday for sure. The back is fantastic with it's little keyhole. Then the ruched sleeve detail is adorable.

9. Lacquered Triangle Charm Necklace, $5.80: I love the simplicity of this necklace.

10. Refined D'Orsay Flats, $22.80: This summer I plan to grab more flats. While I was organizing my shoes I realized that some of my flats are looking rough and it is time to replace them. I love the traditional look with the pointy toe twist.

If you have found some wonderful Springy pieces please share them! Also if you have tried some of the makeup I would love to hear your feedback. If you want to see more of the items from Forever 21 that I am loving right now check at my Forever 21 pinterest board.

Project 52: Week 6

Today was great. I went and helped one of my best friend pick out her wedding dress. And consequently got some awesome photos of her in the dress. I got home and realized crap I have taken pictures today but do not have something I can post. So I decided I would share one of my favorite little spots on my bookshelf. These three books were picked up at a yard sale a few years ago from the "dollar" table at a yard sale. There was an adorable little girl in charge of the table. It reminded me of when I was little my grandma would always give me a little spot to sell stuff when we would have a yard sale. Well I ended up with these three books The Dickens Digest, A Treasury of American Folklore, and a copy of Olney Hymns. The Olney Hymn has a wonderful inscription in the front, "Will Eleanor accept this volume from a friend? Dec. 1882." The decoration on the spine is wonderful.

Project 52: Week 5

This past week has been the strangest. It was Snowmageddon 2014 in Atlanta. Then on Saturday it was in the 60's and beautiful. Oh Georgia Weather. Thankfully my family all arrived home safely. My boyfriend ended up staying at a friends house but all ended well. It did take my dad 6.5 hours to get home when it generally only takes around 45 minutes normally. I hope if you are from Atlanta you were able to get home safely!

As always let me know if you have a photography blog or are doing a photography project! I'd love to check it out.

3 First Impressions

The other day I decided to take a trip to my local CVS to check out what new drugstore makeup they had. Plus I kept getting emails that I had some great coupons on my CVS card. The trip did not disappoint! I picked up three items Rimmel's Stay Matte Foundation, Physician's Formula's CC cream, and the Maybelline Color Tattoo in Matte Brown. Oddly, I ended up with two face products that are totally different.

This might be my new favorite drugstore foundation. I have been trying it out over the last week and it holds up well. It has lasted in fairly good shape for an 8 hour shift at work. The finish is definitely medium to full coverage matte. It blends in well with my Real Techniques buffing brush. However, this is not an "invisible foundation" you definitely feel like your wearing a foundation.

This is my first CC cream. I love that this one from Physicians Formula is 100% organic and has sun screen in it. The coverage is pretty amazing. It is a great everyday product when you do not want full coverage. Also unlike the Rimmel foundation the CC cream does not feel heavy on my skin. I went into CVS not thinking I would pick this up at all. However, my CVS was doing 40% off all the Physicians Formula products and this CC cream had a $3 off coupon attached to it. So I basically got the CC cream for $3.99. Pretty awesome! I kind of feel like I should go back and get another.

Lastly, I picked up another Color Tattoo. I love them. Hopefully one day Maybelline will come out with a bunch of permanent matte colors. This is the Matte Brown shade that was released for limited edition quite a while ago. My CVS still had a bunch of them. This is great to use for my crease and is incredibly long wearing.

What have you picked up lately? I was looking for the new Rimmel bb cream originally. When I found all of this. I would love some recommendations.

Also check out my Week 4 post in my Project 52 on Focusing Daily.

Project 52: Week 4

I believe an introduction is needed. This lovely lady is my dog Molly. She is mutt with some definite basset hound in her but we have no idea what else makes up her genetic makeup. Molly has one of the best temperaments of any dog I have been around. Well if you think a good temperament is wanting to cuddle with you all the time. I do.

She has had a rough last year. We found a weird bump and it turned out to be a breast tumor. When she had surgery it turned out they had spread and she had to have a complete mastectomy. I am so thankful to still have her. Molly's favorite chair sits right in front of a window. And there is generally great light for photos. I like this one because of her eyes. When I took this she was sleeping and just happened to open her eyes. I feel like she is looking at me like, "Really, that thing again."

I hope everyone has had a great week!
As always if you are participating in a photo project please leave a link in the comments so I can check it out!
